Import Export (IE) Code is a registration required for persons importing or exporting goods and services from India. IE code is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India.
Benefits of Import – Export Registration:
– U can expand the scope of business by unlocking the International market
– It is a code allotted with lifetime validity and is based on PAN of the business organization.
– You can avail benefits in the form of subsidies or otherwise declared by the Customs, and lots of other benefits.
– Unlike other Tax Registrations, there is no post registration compliance or the return filing requirements prescribed.
